About Us

DKT stands for Dagger Keys Torch, three symbols associated with the goddesses Astarte (Asherah) and Hekate, goddesses of wisdom, and representative of the death, rebirth, and life cycle that we go through on our spiritual journeys. We view these goddesses as the forces of cosmic wisdom (Astarte/Asherah) and the wisdom that is here with us (Hekate).

About the Owners

DKT Metaphysical Shop is owned by Wes and Kate Jade. We started our shop to provide spiritual tools that are hand crafted, ethically sourced, and sound cleansed to our fellow practitioners. As lovers of making magick and exploring energy work, we found that it was often difficult to find reliable tools for our own practice that were truly crafted with care and intention, and that set us out on our path to ensure others always had access to metaphysical products they could trust.

What We Believe

We believe that all humans are unique and have natural giftings and ways of understanding the world around them. For some people, we believe they're naturally drawn to wisdom, healing themselves and others, and only feel fulfillment and satisfaction in life through some type of connection to the realm of the cosmos and mysteries of the universe. We view crystals, herbs, the elements, music, color, and gifts of Mother Nature as tangible resources to strengthen our ability to connect with the divine through frequencies and energy. No matter how you connect to or understand spirit, the divine, or the universe, we welcome you!

How We Practice

We care immensely for our fellow spiritual practitioners, as well as Mother Nature. We believe in sourcing the powerful gifts that the earth has to offer in an ethical manner to preserve and protect her, as well as providing you with premium quality spiritual tools. Every order that we fulfill is cleansed with a crystal healing sound bowl set to a B note. This particular note links to the crown energy center of the body, which is believed to be our direct link to the divine and spiritual realm. Upon receiving your shipment, we encourage everyone to also cleanse their items using their preferred method before using.

The Dagger, Keys, and Torch Symbols

We believe there are many ways to connect to the divine, and one of the ways we understand and connect is through the ancient Goddesses Astarte (Asherah) and Hekate, which are some of the earliest depictions of our understanding of Holy Wisdom (Sophia). Associated with the number three, both Astarte (Asherah) and Hekate have trinity or triple goddess aspects, rule over three-way crossroads, the three-phase lifecycle of death, rebirth, and life, as well as the domains of land, sea, and skies. Three of the main symbols that connect with this lifecycle of death, rebirth, and life are the dagger, keys, and torch.

What does the dagger, keys, and torch represent?

The Dagger
The dagger is a tool used to cut or sever something. In a spiritual context, the dagger is a symbol of death, ending old patterns of beliefs, and letting go of negative energy that no longer serves your highest good.
The Keys
Keys are a tool used to unlock or open something. In a spiritual context, keys are a symbol of accessing ancient wisdom, embarking down older pathways, and discovering truth capable of transforming your life.
The Torch
A flaming torch is used to light a dark road or pathway. In a spiritual context, a flaming torch is a symbol of illumination and guidance leading you down a fulfilling journey of healing, growth, and expansion.
Who is Hekate? Who is Astarte?

Hekate is the ancient Thracian Goddess of Hidden Wisdom and Astarte (Asherah) is the ancient Canaanite Goddess of Cosmic Wisdom. We understand both as the original embodiments of what different religions and belief systems may refer to as: Wisdom. The Holy Spirit. The Great Spirit. God or Goddess. The Great Goddess. The Triple (or Triune) Goddess. The Great Mother. Love. The Comforter. Compassion.

[The Holy Spirit, expressed as] Hekate and/or Astarte teaches us that the way to the vision that inspires renewal is to be found in moving through the darkness and reintegrating all of the shadows and unconscious aspects of ourselves by focusing on inner healing, embracing who we are, and finding our purpose in life.

Kate Jade shares additional esoteric wisdom about these goddesses and more through the Sacred Wisdom Society if you are looking for additional insight and guidance.

Blessed be!
